Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan heads Turkey to complete the rest of the shooting of his film “Lal Singh Chadha”. The film is a remake of a 1994 comedy-drama starring American actor Tom Hanks.
The shooting of the film will be completed in Turkey as India has banned the shooting of films due to the spread of Corona virus.
Lal Singh Chadha’s shooting in Indian Punjab was affected after lockdown launch in March, which is now being resumed after about five months.
Kareena Kapoor has also played the lead role in Lal Singh Chadha, which she announced last year on the occasion of her birthday.
Aamir Khan heads Turkey in 2017 to promote his film “Superstar” at the special invitation of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, had shown great interest in Istanbul and Ankara even then.
The movie “Lal Singh Chadha” was scheduled to hit cinemas on Christmas Eve in December, but it is likely that the release of the movie will be delayed till next year due to the corona virus.
The idea for the film is derived from the American comedy “Forest Gump” based on Winston Gome’s 1986 novel of the same name. Forrest Gump was played by Tom Hanks, who witnessed several historical events in the United States in the 20th century.
